While I do know Mamma's who use their lunch hour to grocery shop so they can go directly home at the end of the day, visit the gym, go for a jog, take time out to read a book or magazine for fun, go for a walk with co-workers or alone, or visit the cafeteria and take the time to eat and socialize. The majority of Mamma's I speak to power through the lunch hour at their desk booking meetings and trying to sneak a bit of sandwich here and there.
We all know the importance of refuelling throughout the day (water, food, and a break away from the monitor), but we often don't take the time.
I challenge you to do something that motivates you and allows you to disengage from work and refuel (even if only for 10-15 minutes). I predict it will dramatically impact your entire day.
How can you use your lunchtime to refuel your mind and body?
