As I was sitting eating lunch, I was overwhelmed with gratitude. My grandmother had made soup, a recipe that dates back in our family. I was so grateful in that moment for my grandparents; the memories, moments, and lessons. I just sat there is silence for a few minutes, not knowing how to let them in on how important an instance it was for me.
Even now, reflecting on it, I know that will be a forever memory of them. It was a moment like no other, when all was quiet and I was able to truly feel gratitude.
As we move forward from this past weekend's Thanksgiving celebrations, I am incredibly thankful for that moment of immense gratitude.
As we transition back to the workforce or tackle new experience or chapters in our life. I am reminded of Danielle Laporte's #TruthBomb.- Interrupt Anxiety with Gratitude.
