There are so many reasons to stay in bed and hit snooze a little longer / skip the lunchtime gym workout / stop journaling / stop planning meals or time (whatever your resolution/goal/change may be). The key is to reframe (flip the switch) on your thought ...
Instead of telling yourself reasons to not follow through on your plan flip that thought and tell yourself reasons to follow through.
For me some things that work to support talking myself into it (instead of out of it) are:
- a quote or a mantra
- a voice note recorded after you did it last time (telling yourself how glad you are you followed through)
- an accountability partner (someone to help you stick to your plans)
