Sharing your intentions can be very valuable, so that those you are interacting with understand what is important to you and where your focus is for the conversation. It can be very helpful to understand others intentions as well (especially in a meeting or conversation). Intentions are a great thing to circle back to if you feel like the conversation is going on a tangent or derailing.
When you are returning to the workforce the day can feel busy, chaotic and overwhelming. Take a moment in the morning to set your intentions for the day and a moment at the end of the day to reflect (and hopefully celebrate!) Knowing what is important to that day and keeping that front of mind will help reduce the busy / chaotic feeling.

Give it a try...
