For me, my sweet spot is a place where 'the fly on the wall' can clearly articulate my priorities accurately, because I am living them. It is the place where my physical, emotional and intellectual selves all feel in balance. It is not a place where everything gets done (no where near that). It is a place that takes constant consideration and effort to remain in.
When heading into a major transition like returning to work, my best insight to share is to take it back to the basics first, before the transition occurs. Throw out everything but the crayons and paper. What I mean is peel back everything you have going on in your life. Wrap up your Zumba class, don't make a Tuesday girls night commitment. Take everything away and then build it up once more around your new piece of the puzzle.
From there add back in those workout classes, girls nights, date nights etc. in order of priority and when you feel like you are ready to add another piece to the puzzle.
Slowly add each piece until you find your groove.
