In many ways adding layers makes me feel cozy, safe and warm. As I watch the leaves change and fall I look forward to the new beginnings of spring. It is a time to celebrate, remember and be thankful.
I am striving to live this weekend from a place of thanks. Often I find holiday weekends are like racing horses and I am barely hanging onto the reins balancing cooking, visiting, and driving in between.
As I look around at the falling leaves and remember the past year, I have so much to be thankful for, really everything to be thankful for so living from a place of thanks should be easy.
This weekend when things get busy and many pots on the stove are boiling, I am going to draw on the many incredible memories I have made this year.
Wishing you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving.
What are you thankful for?
