I bought it because, 'make the world a little kinder.' not only spoke to my desire to truly make a better world for my children to live in, but also the idea of making the world around me a little kinder. Ultimately, also being kinder to myself. We are all often our 'worst critic' aren't we?
This journal is a space to celebrate, focus my positive intent, and to be thankful. Journaling in this way is today's Tool Tuesday. This practice can truly take 30 seconds, but it makes an impact, I find, on my entire day and my mood.
I use this journal in the morning to set a positive intention for the day, no matter how much challenge is ahead of me. At the end of the day, I use it to celebrate wins and write the things I am thankful for.. I often reflect on my morning intention as well.
This practice, for me and many of my clients, brings more joy into the everyday. By focusing, articulating and reflecting on the day ahead and then moments within that day, we are able to find all the beautiful little moments, that we might have missed otherwise.
Give it a try and let me know how it goes.
