April brings such excitement for me, as bulbs begin to poke through the soil. The rain falls regularly washing away the winter and welcoming the spring. The grass begins to green, the buds bloom, and the world prepares for the beauty of spring and summer.
I can't help but wonder, as I watch the rain fall, how natures yearly cleanse needs to be reflected in our lives. Many of us use the time to complete spring cleaning on our homes; emptying our attics, basements, garages and closets. We re-organize, re-arrange and re-settle into the space around us.
Let's also take this opportunity to check-in with what is going on inside ourselves - what needs a spring clean? Perhaps it is your wellness routine, perhaps it is carving out some time for self-care, or maybe it is a desire to show up in the moment more. What needs to be washed away by the rain? What is really growing and thriving right now?
