A great friend recently shared the following blog post with me. It is a post that shares two letters, one from a Working Mamma to a Stay-at-Home Mamma and vice versa. To me, these are both letters of compassion. We tend to show endless compassion to others in our lives, but sometimes forget ourselves.
Today, I encourage you to write a letter of love and compassion to yourself. If it gets challenging or uncomfortable, try thinking about yourself as a friend; What would you say to encourage, inspire, and bring light to "their" strengths?
Save your letter. You can open it on a specific day, mail it to yourself to read in the future, or keep it with you to read when you most need it.
